Consumer brand SuperYou, co-founded by actor Ranveer Singh and entrepreneur Nikunj Biyani, is expanding into the protein supplement space with the launch of SuperYou Pro. The company says the product uses bio-fermented yeast protein technology, a formulation it claims is gut-friendly, allergen-free, and comparable in performance to whey.
SuperYou Pro comes after the brand’s earlier products — Protein Wafers and Multigrain Chips — which, since November 2024, have sold more than 80 lakh units across India. With this move, the company is entering India’s ₹4,000 crore protein powder market, targeting both the ₹500 crore plant protein and ₹3,000 crore whey protein segments.

A different take on protein
The brand says the bio-fermented yeast protein matches whey in amino acid profile, with a PDCAAS score of 1.0, while offering what it calls better digestion and absorption. Each serving is said to provide 24–27g of complete protein, along with digestive enzymes, probiotics, and natural sweeteners. The powder contains no dairy, soy, gluten, or artificial additives, and is priced at around ₹3,000 a kg.
SuperYou Pro will be available through the company’s online store, major e-commerce platforms, and selected retail outlets such as Wellness Forever, Noble Chemist, Ratnadeep, and 7-Eleven.

Certification and manufacturing details
According to the company, the product has been verified by NABL and tested by SGS China and SciEp Australia. It is manufactured in a US FDA and GMP-certified facility, is non-GMO, and plant-based.
Omnichannel push
SuperYou plans to sell through both online and offline channels, aiming to tap into what it sees as growing consumer interest in alternatives to whey-based supplements. Whether this yeast-protein formula gains traction in the Indian fitness market remains to be seen, but the company is positioning it as a science-backed option for performance and everyday health.
